Neck Pain

Neck pain may be caused by irritation of any of the structures in the neck such as the muscles, joints, nerves or the disc cushioning between each vertebra. When the neck gets sore there is usually some restriction in neck movement and thus, most often people will refer to this as a stiff neck. If the neck pain is caused by nerve irritation then other symptoms such as numbness, tingling or pins & needles may be felt in the arms or fingers.
